About

Through My Lens

I’m a photography enthusiast with a lifelong curiosity about science, nature, and the world around us. With a background in software engineering and as a former editor of Science Illustrated magazine, I’ve always been drawn to observing, understanding, and sharing what I discover.

Photography has become another way for me to explore that curiosity. My camera has taken me from birds and wildlife close to home to remarkable places around the world — from the Serengeti and Patagonia to Antarctica. Whether I’m photographing a bird in flight, wildlife in its natural habitat, or a quiet landscape, I enjoy capturing both the beauty of the subject and the experience of being there.

Vernal’s Lens is where I share those photographs and the stories behind them — a closer look at the natural world, the places I visit, and the moments I want to remember.
